Picking up from our Romans series last year, we started a new sermon series on Romans 5-8 this past Sunday. Beginning with Romans 5:1-11, we looked at the Christian’s future hope of glory; a future so good and secure that we can rejoice in it even at the present. In a world filled with suffering, we often long for assurance and hope for the future. Paul unfolds the breathtaking reality of what God has done for us in Christ. God has shown, proven, and demonstrated His love through His astonishing sacrifice. In Christ, we have a new future, a glorious destiny that no trial or suffering can take away. Christ’s work is the basis of our sure hope of salvation and future glory. Come rejoice in the unfailing love, everlasting peace, and guaranteed future found only in the Lord Jesus Christ.
