Our Filipino Gathering plays a crucial role in fulfilling the church’s mission to share the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ within the Filipino community. Reflecting the church’s dedication to reaching all nations, we host two alternating monthly activities:
• Pinoy Fellowship: Is a structured gathering with a dedicated time where we come together to sing praises to God, listening to God’s Word through sermons or Bible readings that are aimed at deepening our understanding of Scripture and applying it to our daily lives. We also pray for one another, bringing our needs, challenges, and praises before God as a community.
• Pinoy Connect: A social gathering for outings, meals, 'karaoke', games, and devotions, nurturing friendships and spiritual growth. It’s a time to build relationships, share life stories, and strengthen our sense of belonging within the Filipino community in Penang. Through these social interactions, we aim to cultivate a supportive network where faith and friendships grow hand in hand, providing a space where everyone feels welcomed and valued.
These gatherings are designed to provide spiritual nourishment, meaningful connections, and a supportive community, ensuring that the Filipino community in Penang experiences the transformative power of God’s grace.
